Why is it so hard??

If you’re like me, you’ve tried something new that you think will be the ticket to getting “back in shape” or getting rid of the stubborn belly fat. Time after time, you get excited that this might be the thing to kick it and get in the best shape of your life to feel more confident in yourself. You used to have a drive that you could push yourself harder, say no to the junk food, push for that extra rep. But now…..it just feels meaningless to stand strong, so you fall in line like everyone else and have a few more cookies or pieces of pizza.

This is how we end up in the viscious cycle of “starting Monday” on a new diet or workout program. Yet, giving in when the going gets tough and ulitmately not getting the results you want. Well, you aren’t alone. I would say 95% of people, including myself have gone through this cycle. Sometimes, all it takes is someone who cares about you to send you that text, help encourage you through the reps at the gym and someone that ultimately builds up your confidence that “you can do it!”
