Your journey starts with "Why". We need to sit down one on one to find out what you are hoping to gain from your experience at 701 so we can guide and tailor your experiece to meet your expectations. Is your goal to be able to train for a half marathon or to be able to run with your grandkids? We will help you set objective and measurable stepping stones to lead you to your reason "Why". The journey of one thousand miles starts with a single step.
Measuring a baseline is a critical step along your journey. Some people want to lose weight (or gain muscle) but the scale isn't always the most telling piece of equipment when it comes to body composition. We use a number of tools including air displacement body density measurement to determine baseline body composition. We will then use these results to measure against at the end of your 30 day experience.
As great as our training protocol and exercise program is, you simply cannot out work a poor diet. The fuel your body needs is as critical to your success in our program. Much of diet is selecting the right foods and macronutrients for your body type and building the habits and routines to consume the nutrients you need. We help forumulate a diet program that you can follow and give you the tools you need to make your diet compliment your workouts routine.
The results of your diet are compounded when you get into our regular high intensity interval training program. Our membership includes unlimited monthly classes where you will be coached and guided by a certified CrossFit coach. We also offer specialty classes such as Olympic Weightlifting to help familiarize yourself to some of the more advanced lifting movements. Our coaching staff will make sure you understand the movements and modify the workout accordingly to your meet ability while allowing for an efficient and effective workout.
A big reason our program works is because of accountability. We know it's hard to build good habits and easy to quit early on so we want to ensure we are following up and following through. When you see the results from our program, you will be encouraged and excited to continue the habits you've started. The 30 day check in allows us to remeasure your body composition, refocus your goals and guide you along the next step in your journey.
